Sharon obtained both her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Master’s degree of Science in the Field of Food Safety and Toxicology from the University of Hong Kong. Before starting her Master’s degree, she worked in HKU’s Laboratory of Neurodegenerative Diseases for one summer, and assisted PhD students in their neurodegenerative disease research projects. Her Master’s final project was to study the effects of various nanoparticles on inflammatory bowel diseases.
Sharon is now working as a Toxicologist in Delphic HSE, conducting safety assessment and label review for products ready to sell to different countries.
