Dr. Dick Lee obtained a Ph.D. degree in Applied Chemistry from Hong Kong Baptist University, with a focus on Material Science. He commenced his career with TÜV Rheinland Hong Kong Limited, holding various roles. He worked as the position of R&D Manager, where he planned and led method development and operations in the R&D laboratory. In the latter part of his tenure at TÜV, he switched to the role of a toxicologist, with responsibilities including safety assessments for cosmetics, toys, and household products. During this period, he earned an MSc degree in Food Safety and Toxicology from The University of Hong Kong and obtained certification (DABT) in General Toxicology from the American Board of Toxicology. Subsequently, he worked as a freelance toxicologist and then as a chemist in an OEM toy manufacturing company. He is a member of The Japanese Society of Toxicology, the Royal Society of Biology, and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
